Welcoming the Department of Industrial Works for a visit to the hazardous waste landfill site.
On Monday, June 26th, 2023, the Department of Industrial Works organized an off-site study activity to visit the progress of the Permanent Capping Project for MODULE 1 CELL 3 & CELL 4 of the hazardous industrial waste landfill. The visit was led by Mr. Supakij Boonsiri, the Deputy Director General of the Department of Industrial Works, along with the monitoring and inspection committee from the General Environmental Conservation Public Company Limited, at the Environmental Conservation Research and Development Center, Ratchaburi Province.
During the event, Mr. Burin Amornpichit, the Managing Director, and representatives of the company provided knowledge and understanding to the personnel participating in the off-site study, regarding the progress of the Permanent Capping Project for the hazardous industrial waste landfill. This was done to benefit from the acquired knowledge for future practical work related to both hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste landfill operations, in accordance with academic principles.
